  • How to publish a good job advertisement (to attract quality candidates), and what this process entails

  • How to present the company and oneself to candidates, and why it is important

  • How to pre-select received applications to include the best candidates in the further process; learning to read CVs

  • How to prepare and conduct a meaningful and objective interview (what to ask; how to structure the interview and how to avoid leading questions; what to observe during the interview to obtain quality and reliable information about the candidate)

  • How to recognize inadequate candidates, identify exaggeration or distortion of truth, and what to do when a candidate gives vague answers

  • Based on which information to select a candidate, and how to decide between the two best candidates

  • What is ethically permissible to ask during the interview and what is not
